Nigel Brown Art

For the first 2 terms of the year we focused on art designed by Nigel Brown. We looked at the story behind his artwork and what we liked about them. As a class we created a design for the art peice called I AM. We each included symbols or items that represented us and our community. We created a skyline and then included the words I AM. I think my artwork is balanced because of the background where I created the Hokonui Hills.The words I AM are affective on my art because they stand out from all the other symbols and landscapes I have included in my foreground, midground and background. We painted them on a blank peice of wood and this is my final outcome.  My artwork is similar to Nigel Browns as I included things that represent me.
